Renata L. F. Miller, B.S., Master’s Level Clinical Intern
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when anxiety, OCD, panic, or intrusive thoughts begin to take over daily life. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.
I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at William James College and with an immersive graduate internship training at Clearview OCD Counseling, where I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
<p”>I work with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with OCD, anxiety, panic attacks, specific phobias, perfectionism, low self-esteem, and life transitions. As a new mom myself, I have a special passion for helping children build healthy coping skills, improve emotion regulation, increase confidence, and better understand their emotions in ways that feel fun and age-appropriate.
I also have a strong interest in women’s mental health, including the perinatal and postpartum stages, and enjoy supporting women navigating motherhood, fertility-related challenges, relationship stress, work-life balance, and major life transitions.
As an immigrant from Brazil, I understand both the emotional and practical challenges that can come with adapting to a new culture and environment. I am happy to offer therapy sessions in Brazilian Portuguese for clients who feel more comfortable communicating in their native language.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe that healing and growth happen step by step, and I feel honored to support clients as they work toward living fuller, more balanced, and more meaningful lives.
I look forward to connecting with you!
Interest & Hobbies
I love traveling and exploring new cultures, but I also enjoy quiet time at home with my family. As a proud and loving mother, much of my free time is spent nurturing and making memories with my little one.
I enjoy listening to music and podcasts, spending time outdoors, and watching thriller or romantic comedy movies, depending on my mood. I also love finding small moments of peace and joy in everyday life. I look forward to helping you find your peace and joy as well.
