We will provide special receipts called “superbills” for your insurance plan so you can seek reimbursement from your insurance company. We can provide basic guidance around how to submit superbills and seek reimbursement.
Please contact your insurance company to find out if you have out-of-network benefits which may help cover the cost of treatment. If you do not have out-of-network benefits, we can help you look into cost-saving options. If you have a PPO Plan or other out-of-network benefits, we will provide you with a special receipt called a “superbill” which you can then submit to your insurance company for hopeful reimbursement.
Please note: We do not participate with any insurance companies. Payment for services is due at the time services are rendered and clients will be issued a superbill which they can then submit to their insurance company for hopeful reimbursement. The relationship exists between the client and their insurance company. Clearview does not submit prior authorizations, participate in Single Case Agreements (SCA’s), or otherwise help clients recoup reimbursements from their insurance company aside from offering superbills.

We strive to keep our private pay fees as low as possible. We also reserve several spots on our caseloads for reduced-cost private pay clients who are otherwise unable to afford the full fee. All prospective clients should know that billing through insurance (including out-of-network reimbursement) requires we submit a psychiatric diagnosis which then becomes part of your record and we must sometimes submit further clinical information to support the diagnosis. Private pay clients that do not submit to insurance are not required to have a psychiatric diagnosis and all clients can elect to not use their insurance benefits in order to protect their private health information.
As a service to the community, Jayme offers free, in-home meetings to new parents to support them in their transition with a newborn and to screen for postpartum anxiety, OCD, and depression as well as for trauma reactions following complex pregnancies and births. These screenings are “as available,” depending on Jayme’s current active caseload at any give time, and are not a substitute for therapy or actual assessment. In-home screenings in the Worcester, MA area are also available to new adoptive parents and are always WOC, POC, and LGBTQIA+-friendly.
OFFICE POLICIES
Payment is due at the time of appointment via cash, check, FSA/HSA, or credit card. For video sessions, payment is due via credit card at the time of appointment. We request that all clients keep a credit card on file to be billed for no-shows, late cancellations, and balances owed. Clients are responsible for verifying their insurance benefits and understanding the limits of their coverage. Any fees not covered by insurance including, but not limited to: deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and services not allowed by insurance (such as home visits or phone support) will be billed to the client. If a client has a balance owed upon termination or completion of therapy, we will first attempt to recoup payment by emailing the client an invoice. If a week (7 days) passes with no communication from the client regarding payment, we will then charge the credit card on file for the balance owed.
Please notify your assigned clinician of any appointment cancellations at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid a late cancellation or no-show fee. Neither of these fees are covered by insurance and are billed immediately at the time of original appointment.
We use an electronic health record (EHR) to store clients’ private health information. This EHR is HIPAA-compliant and secure. Clients can access the online client portal to check when their next appointment is, schedule/cancel/reschedule an appointment, pay their bill online, and send their clinician secure messages. The EHR sends appointment reminders via email approximately 48 hours in advance of the session. This service is offered as a courtesy and should not be considered a client’s only means of keeping track of their appointments. Clients will be billed for any no-shows or late cancellations even if they did not receive a courtesy reminder from the EHR system.
The first 1-4 sessions with a client are an intake and diagnostic evaluation. It is sometimes the case that a client’s therapeutic needs exceed what their clinician is able to provide on an outpatient basis. If this is determined, your clinician will make referrals to appropriate providers and programs. Clients may be referred to adjunctive or alternate services at any time during treatment if their clinician determines that their needs exceed what they are able to provide.
