Caelyn N. Nordman, M.A., Associate Clinician
Strong relationships and meaningful connections are foundational to our well-being—whether we’re navigating life as part of a couple, finding our path as an adult, or growing through the challenges of childhood and adolescence. I work with clients across the lifespan to build healthier communication, deepen self-understanding, and foster confidence and resilience at every stage of development.
Childhood and adolescence are deeply impactful stages of life, often filled with complex challenges and transitions. When mental health difficulties are added to the mix, these years can feel even more overwhelming. In session, I strive to balance processing the hard parts of growing up with building practical skills that help guide clients toward independence and success.
At Clearview, we believe in supporting the entire family system. It’s not uncommon for my child and teen clients to work with me while their parents or caregivers meet with Jayme or Andrew for parent-coaching support. Treatment plans are tailored to each child and family’s unique needs—so whether you’re looking for collaborative care, skill-building, or simply a space to be authentically you, I’m here to support you through that process.
I also work with adults—both individually and as partners. I am trained in both the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), two evidence-based approaches that help couples strengthen communication, connection, and shared meaning. My work with adults emphasizes interventions backed by science which promote empowerment, self-understanding, and tangible changes to support a more fulfilling life.
My clinical focus includes mood and developmental disorders, neurodivergence/ASD, illness and health anxiety, trauma/PTSD, and OCD in children and young adults. I also have specialized training in affirming psychotherapy for LGBTQIA+ youth and adults. Everyone deserves a brave space to pursue wellness, fulfillment, and healing, and I welcome conversations regarding gender, sex, or sexuality. In these turbulent times, I remain committed to providing that environment for my clients.
Interests and Hobbies:
A barista by training, I love all things coffee. Ask me for recommendations before your next coffee order! I am also deeply passionate about literature and storytelling, and I encourage my clients to engage in self-exploration through reading or writing (as I do myself!). On days when I am not working, you can find me curled up with my two cats and a romance, thriller, or fiction novel. My current recommendations include: Spark of the Everflame by Penn Cole, Notes on an Execution by Danya Kukafka, and If We Were Villains by M. L. Rio.
